Raleigh Denim Workshop was founded by creatives Sarah and Victor out of a true love of and commitment to craft, American production, and design. Instead of following the fast-fashion model of the 21st century, the founders have been collecting and restoring classic textile machines that may take a few extra seconds per stitch but make a pair of jeans into a work of art. (They do, in fact, sign each pair of jeans they make.) Each stitch is deliberately placed and each pattern is the product of years of development. All of Raleigh Denim’s editioned denim jeans are produced in their downtown Raleigh workshop, where they are at the center of a community of like-minded craftspeople.
